This patient had 1ml of Restylane Refyne injected into her pre-jowl sulcus, the indentation that occurs where cheek meets chin along the jawline as jowls start to form, as part of the natural aging process.
She had just turned 50 and started to notice her jawline wasn’t looking as smooth and contoured as it once had. Refyne is a different type of hyaluronic acid dermal filler, in that it has the ability to bounce back after movement(read: lasts longer and looks more natural) than previous formulations. It lasts at least 1 year, but can last up to 2 years.
