This patient had a scar on her chin that was tethered down with scar tissue. We first used subcision, a process using a blunt-tipped needle, called a cannula, to break up the scar tissue and release the tethers, then we filled in missing support from beneath with a firm gel style of filler, called Restylane Defyne.
