This patient had some pretty deep lines on her brow and forehead. The two or three vertical lines between the brows are often called “11’s” by injectors and those are caused by frowning or furrowing your brow. The horizontal lines across the forehead are from raising your eyebrows. Sometimes this is just a natural, common facial expression, and other times, we see these lines get deeper as the eyelids and brows start to droop with age, and our natural reaction is to raise our brows to open up our field of vision.
Whatever the case, these wrinkles and lines caused by repeated facial expressions often smooth out quickly once we use a little Botox to relax those muscles. The result we are after is natural and soft, with some normal movement still intact. This gives the perfect blend of a completely natural look, with the cosmetic improvement of a little less movement in those areas.
