This patient was frustrated by her pronounced under eye bags. In this case, these puffy under eye bags were being caused by herniated fat pads. When this is the case, the fat pad that normally wraps around the lower portion of the eye socket becomes dislodged and pushed upwards. When left untreated, this also stretches out the delicate under eye skin, creating wrinkles.
The appropriate way to remedy to this concern is to surgically remove that fat in way that creates a smooth undereye.
Stitches for this procedure (and any scarring) are hidden on the inside edge of the lower eyelid, so that the results are completely natural and undetectable as surgical results by others.
