What is Microaire Power-Assisted Lipo (PAL)?
MicroAire is a power-assisted liposuction (PAL) system with vibrational cannulas (small tubes to gently remove fat). What is SAFE Lipo?
SAFE Lipo is a proven, multi-step technique for liposuction that uses power-assisted instruments (MicroAire) to create consistent liposuction results. At Reflections, we provide Safe Lipo, Smart lipo, Slim Lipo as well as ThermiTight, or PrecisionTX, depending on the patient’s needs.

You may be surprised to learn that these features are not standard across all liposuction platforms. Very often liposuction is performed under general anesthesia using much larger and more aggressive instruments, requiring that a physician use brute force to push the cannula through the fat cells. This makes the procedure unnecessarily traumatic and only be tolerated while a patient is asleep. This leads to higher risks of complications and longer, more difficult recovery. Power-assisted liposuction under local anesthesia offers the same level of precision and results that traditional liposuction can, without these risks. Consequently, our practice does not offer traditional liposuction under general anesthesia.

PAL For HVP: Power-Assisted Liposuction For High-Volume Fat Transfer
One of the biggest concerns patients have about fat transfer is what percentage of their transferred fat volume will survive. Power-assisted lipo (PAL) coupled with a closed system to collect and reinject fat is the key to delivering viable fat cells for the transfer. The vibration cannula of the PAL device gently breaks up the fat cells, minimizing the damaging to individual cells. The fat we are able to harvest with MicroAire is pure and whole. This fat makes our Brazilian Butt Lift (fat transfer to butt) results as predictable and precise as possible.
