Joe Torrillo is a retired Firefighter from New York City who bravely fought to help others survive the 9/11 attacks, and found himself fighting for his life as he was caught in towers’ collapse himself. Today, he still faces a multitude of health issues related to the attacks. Dr. Mitchell Chasin of Reflections Center for Skin & Body in New Jersey is treating Joe for damage to the skin on his face from the attacks with the Vbeam Perfecta and other laser modalities.
His before and after photos here show the impact of 1 treatment with vbeam laser to help improve the redness he has. This redness is not exactly rosacea, but is rosacea-like, and we believe it is in part due to chemicals and burns that he received during his service on that day.
